Hi, I’m Jenny.

I’m the founder of Small Strides CIC, a trauma-focused Equine Facilitated Learning and Psychotherapy centre based in Bristol.

For over 13 years, I built Small Strides from the ground up, starting with just myself and one horse, into a fully established centre delivering both facilitated learning & psychotherapy work with children, young people, and adults, including being a commissioned Alternative Provision services for local authorities.

At the core of everything we did was one principle:

Relationships are the vehicle for change with self, others, and the horses.

We supported individuals with complex needs, including neurodivergence, trauma, mental health challenges, and those outside of mainstream education. Every part of the work was grounded in safety, structure, and therapeutic relationship.

After many years of delivery, I made the difficult decision to close Small Strides following significant personal and professional changes, including bereavement and the loss of our land.

It was one of the most challenging transitions of my life. But it also gave me clarity. Because I realised something important:

There is a huge gap between completing training in this field and actually knowing how to set up, structure, and run a compliant, professional practice in the real world.

That gap is where most people get stuck.

And it’s exactly why this Done-For-You Practice Pack exists.

This is not theory.
This is not generic templates.

This is the exact structure, systems, and documentation foundation I used in a real working practice, adapted so you can implement it in yours with clarity, confidence, and professionalism.

Now, I use my experience to support others who are ready to move from intention… into action
